Hi, will the Rio Premier OutBound Short – WFI/S5/S7 be a good option to fish lakes from a float tube or boat or would a rio fathom be the preferred line to use? My goal is to have the option of fishing the very bottom if needed. Thank you

Both lines will really get down deep given that neither have a floating line section. That being said, the Fathom is specifically designed for deep lake applications. The Fathom 7 would be a solid option for getting as deep as possible. It is not a line I have in stock, but I would be happy to order one for you if you decide it is what you want.
