A lot of the fishing above the tide water on the Situk, is trying to pull lunkers from pools with stumps and structure. This means that you need to get the fly down in a hurry. Typically this is down with a floating line and a very heavy fly (dolly llamas) or with a short aggressive sinktip with flies like Starlite Leeches and Hareball Leeches.
