Hello, Do you sell packages of flies for a upcoming float trip to the Kisaralik River. I was told these are some of the type of flies needed – # 2 hooks are a good all around hook if necessary. Most flies that are specific for Alaska are all ready set up with the proper hook size. Dolly Lama: White and Oliver and Black and Oliver Sculpin Egg Sucking Leech Meat and Taters (flesh fly) Rusty Trombone Is this correct and Do you know of anymore types bot on the list? I will be in Alaska for 2 weeks (Sept 7-21). 2 stops in Junea. I will have a car and plan to do the normal Mendenhal glacier walk but would like to stop at roadside river or creek to flyfish. I dont care about huge salmon and would prefer to catch and release something smaller on maybe a 5wt. Is that something in the area I could do and not have to bring waders or big rod? I’ll stop in for flys but am trying to reduce the gear since i am the only fisher i the group. Even if for a half hour or hour would be ok, just to try. Normally fish MI, CO, UT. Thanks

Hi, I will be in AK from June 2-19. I’ve been fishing my whole life but only recently started flyfishing. I’ve got a 6WT and 4WT rod. I’ll be between Anchorage and Denali for a few days and then down around Kenai/Seward around the 11th. I’ve got four chartered days at the end, but I’ll be solo for the beginning of the trip. Looking for recommendations for flies. Looking at the regulations for the areas I’ll be, it looks like I’ll be limited to grayling and trout. Thanks!
