Kushy Tushi

The Kushy Tushi is new for 2025 and sure to become a top producer for salmon/steelhead anglers all over.  This fly was designed by Cory Hansen as an easy to cast, lighter weight alternative to a Dolly Llama.  The Dolly Llama is a fantastic pattern, but eventually it becomes too much for anglers to cast all day long.  The Kushy Tushi draws inspiration from nature, mimicking a polychaete worm and squid all at once.  Throw in some outrageous color combos and the variations are endless.  This fly was initially designed for Western Alaska cohos but has proven effective for steelhead under a float and even bass down south.
