Aluminum is softer than carbide and is incredibly grippy. You can almost feel these cleats adhere to rocks when you are wading. They do wear a little faster than carbide, but you may find the traction is worth it.

Designed specifically for Simms Streamtread Vibram soles, these studs are easy to screw into place, and wear like you don’t know they are there. Corrosion-free aluminum is softer than carbide, and conforms to tough surfaces a lot easier.
Sold in a pack of 10, you may use the studs individually or in combination with Hardbite Star Cleats and Studs in any pattern that you choose.
