The Flashtail Whistler works equally well in the salt for a variety of fish and in the freshwater for sheefish and pike. Fish it off a floating line with a Pike Leader for pike and off a sink tip line for saltwater fish and sheefish in the rivers. Rockfish absolutely go nuts for this fly!

A weighted olive 'shell' is added to the top of the fly so it immediately flips on its back when it hits the water. The rubber legs wiggle on descent and the predators come a running! The Olive version is ideal for fishing over darker colored bottoms or eel grass.
