Olive Variant & White is one of the original Dolly Llama colors and it is as good today as ever. Olive Variant has a slightly more "Dirty Olive" look to it and is a favorite of predatory rainbows. In the smaller size, this color combo is a deadly sculpin imitation.

The one that started it all. The Black & White Dolly Llama is the #1 color for trout and char and is also amazingly effective on salmon and steelhead. If you could only have one fly to fish all of Alaska, for every species, this would be it!

Black Articulated Hareballs are great for big rainbows, steelhead and kings. When a large stealthy fly is the order of the day this is it. Articulated Hareballs are 5 inches in length, have heavy lead eyes, and are constructed of rabbit wrapped over sparkly cactus chenille. They are the perfect combination of flash, big profile and action.

If a small sculpin pattern is needed you can't beat the Sculpzilla. And if you aren't sure which color to start with, go with Black. In the #8 it is a wicked lake fly.

White Sculpzillas are money in higher water.  They work especially well in rivers that are slightly glacial.  White is also one of our favorite colors for char and coastal cutthroat trout.

Natural Sculpzillas work well for picky fish under bright conditions.  When black or olive aren't working and the waters low, give the natural color scheme a try.

The Exasperator Sculpin is a great looking rabbit strip sculpin pattern that dives and wiggles when you strip it. A super good pattern for big rainbows on rivers like the Kenai, Kvichak and Naknek. Fresh and anadromous rainbows beware!

The Black & Pink Metal Head Tube is money for steelhead. It is also a solid 'upriver sulky king' fly. The flowing marabou, nice profile and subtle pink mixed in all add up to a great fly.

Metal Head Tube flies feature the unique Ultra Sonic Cone. The cone has venting holes that make it easy to lift the fly out of the water and simultaneously create a vortex behind the disc. This allows the marabou to flow in the current and not collapse in heavy water.

Metal Head Tubes come ready to fish with junction tubing and a #2 hook that can be swapped out if it gets damaged. The fly is 2.5 inches in length.

The Pearl Chartreuse Mr Bodangles is has just the right combination of color and contrast to make silvers attack. When straight up chartreuse seems a little too bright, tie this fly on and get ready.

Sometimes less is more and having a few sculpins on the smaller end of the scale is a good idea. Mike's Mini Sculpin is only 2 1/4" long and has a minimal amount of materials in it. It gets right down to the bottom and is amazingly life-like as a sculpin hiding in the rocks.

The River Rat Squid is lightweight, super easy to cast, and is a steelhead, king salmon and silver salmon slayer. The marabou body pulsates in the water while the stout trailing hook will increase your hook up rate.

The Popcorn Shrimp is cleverly tied so the rubber legs pulse in the water as you retrieve it. Pairs of legs are tied either perpendicular to the hook shank or at a 45-degree angle. When you strip the fly, they flex back and return to their original position during the pause. It is a super realistic swimmer in the water.

Summer Hours: Monday – Friday 9AM – 6:00PM. Saturday 10AM – 5PM. Sunday Noon – 5pm. Orders are shipping daily.
