Cross Cut rabbit is cut so the fur lays perpendicular to the hide. When the strip is tied in and wound forward the fur will naturally flow towards the tail of the fly. While Cross Cut rabbit makes very nice bodies, Straight Cut is a better choice for tails. Strips are 1/8" wide and there are four 12" strips per package.

In the larger sizes we love them for the Mr. Bodangles fly. The 1x wire of these hooks allow for deep penetration when the hook is set. We have found the Nickel/Pearl to fish best for sea run cutthroat, Dollies and rainbows.When choosing a size, we suggest the 5/32" for small Clouser Minnows (#6 or smaller) and the 3/16" for standard Clousers in sizes 1/0 - #4.
