The Chartreuse/Blue Flashtail Tube is a tidewater-lower river king slayer. Big Chinook just out of the salt love this color combo and the size of the fly is spot on. This fly has accounted for a lot of kings! Hartwick's Flashtail Tubes from Aqua Flies are just over 3 inches in length. They are tied with marabou, ostrich and flash. The marabou is tied in with a cone behind it so that it keeps a full profile in the water and is much more durable than a standard marabou tube fly. They are super wiggly in the water and still have a nice full profile.

The Fuschia Orange Metal Head Tube pops like few other flies. The vibrant fuschia body and collar of hot orange marabou will grab the attention of hot fish. Combine this with flowing marabou, just the right amount of flash and the revolutionary Ultra Sonic Cone and this fly is gonna slay. Metal Head Tube flies feature the unique Ultra Sonic Cone. The cone has venting holes that make it easy to lift the fly out of the water and simultaneously create a vortex behind the disc. This allows the marabou to flow in the current and not collapse in heavy water. Metal Head Tubes come ready to fish with junction tubing and a #2 hook that can be swapped out if it gets damaged. The fly is 2.5 inches in length.

The Purple Fish Taco is one of our favorites for steelhead and kings. It is tied with a bit of pink on the rear of the shank that imparts a nice subtle pop of color. Due to its light weight and slender profile this is a great fly in small or medium sized rivers. The ostrich and flash come alive in the water and it doesn't hang up at the end of the swing. If you are fishing the Sandy River or other Alaska Peninsula king rivers, the Fish Taco should be in your box.

From the endlessly creative mind of Alaskan guide Jerry French, comes the Meat Lovers Special flesh fly. It is a "pocket size" flesh fly that won't spook trout when the water is low and clear. A few beads dangling out the back take it over the top! The fly is just under 2 inches in length.
