Brett's Klamath Intruder from Aqua Flies is perfect when you want a small offering that still pops in the water. The Blue Black version is a top steelhead color and also will get big grabs from spring rainbow trout. Brett's Klamath Intruder is a mere 1 3/4" in length. It is tied on a tiny 15mm shank and has an Octopus #4 hook. If the hook gets damaged you can swap it out for a new one. It has tiny lead eyes so you will want to fish it with a sink tip line or a bit of weight to get it down.

The Purple & Pink Flashtail Tube will hook fish from the estuary to the headwaters! Subdued enough to not spook fish that have been in awhile but with just enough flash and profile to elicit mega-grabs from fish just pouring in from the salt. Hartwick's Flashtail Tubes from Aqua Flies are just over 3 inches in length. They are tied with marabou, ostrich and flash. The marabou is tied in with a cone behind it so that it keeps a full profile in the water and is much more durable than a standard marabou tube fly. They are super wiggly in the water and still have a nice full profile.
